Distressed Homes, Renovated Homes and Short Sale Help…
There are many reasons why one person would need short sale help. When you decide to sell your home—one of the biggest investments of your life—the basic idea is to get the highest return on that investment. And in order to do that, you most definitely need the help of a real estate agent.
My sister sold her house last year, and at first, she was confident she could do it on her own. “How hard can it be?,” I remember her asking. Well apparently, pretty darn hard. She envisioned putting it on the market and in a week or two inquiries would start pouring in, an offer would be made by the end of the month, she’d close the deal, and bam—the whole thing is over and she can move on to her home. But unfortunately for my sister, things didn’t work out that way. Being that the housing market is so tough right now, her home ended up sitting on the market for months. She finally had to lower the asking to a ridiculously low amount, making the return on her investment pretty weak. She did learn that if you want to sell your home fast, you’re going to need the help of a professional realtor.
